Man Beats Young Daughter's Sexual Abuser to Death; Local Community Proclaims Justice was Served

Man Beats Young Daughter's Sexual Abuser to Death; Local Community Proclaims Justice was Served

by David Dischler

A grand jury will decide whether to indict a youngster, who beat to death his daughter's alleged sexual abuser. For the moment, the identity of the father has been kept from the headlines to protect the identity of his girl. The young girl was not physically mistreated and is doing alright, except, naturally, for considerable emotional and psychological stress.

Last Sat., the person was enjoying a barbeque with his folks at their ranch in Shiner, Texas. His girl had wandered off to the barn to feed the chickens when he heard screaming. The dad witnessed a person sexually abusing his daughter. He stopped the attack and then beat the person continually over the head. The purported sexual attacker was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The alleged sexual attacker was a 47-year-old man and an informal acquaintance of the family, famous for his superior horse grooming capabilities. The medical examiner announced the reason behind death as blunt force trauma to the neck and head injuries; however , the full autopsy report won't be available for roughly 6 weeks as toxicology testing has been requested.

The situation happened in a small, sleepy city in Texas, famous for Spoetzl brewery, a wire and plastics company, and endless acres of farmland. The town bodes itself as the "Cleanest Tiny City in Texas" and is found between Houston and San Antonio. It's a place where violence is not exactly normal.

Members of the community do not fault the girl's dad, saying "Any pa would have done that." The man was a 23-year-old single parent, described as committed and not at all violent. He actually called 911, telling emergency staff that the man that sexually attacked his girl was lying beaten on the ground. Neighbours describe the father as hard-working, friendly, and respectful "The kind of man that calls folk 'sir.'" Said to be a good, truthful, industrious kid, who never gets into trouble by the daddy of the man's previous college pal that owns the ranch over the road from where the event occurred.

Lavaca County Policeman, Mica Harmon, stated that the admitted killer appeared remorseful and did not realize the alleged assailant would die at the scene. When asked if the authorities would press charges, Sheriff Harmon explained that once the inquiry was complete, the full report would be submitted to the district attorney, who would then submit it to the grand jury. He also stated , though, that you've a right to protect your girl, and that the man acted in defense of his third person. Some wonder whether the daddy will need to a full criminal trial and further the damages to the little family.

In a spot where everybody knows everybody and gets along with everyone, the murder comes as a great shock. In a community that prides itself as relaxed, there's an overpowering agreement that justice was served.
